he study consists of a two hundred page report in two volumes. Volume I presents the highlights and executive summary, including definitions of web site user interfaces, and examples and recommendations for best practices. Volume II presents a company by company analysis of 100 retail e-commerce web sites for each of the 200 criteria. The research is divided into four categories: the Checkout Process, Post-transaction Communication and Receipt and Return of Goods.
